“Raid her lingerie drawers” for Christmas inspiration

Calling all men who are thinking of buying that special someone in their life an item of designer clothing or lingerie for Christmas! Make sure you put that little bit of extra thought into your gift this year if you want to keep your loved one happy.

Here at Secret Sales HQ we have all had that one memorable terrible gift. It’s always great to return to work after the Christmas break and find out what designer clothing treats people have received from Santa as well as their partners … but there’s always one person who has been left disappointed.

Some advice has been given to struggling men by Soozie Jenkinson, lingerie designer for M&S.

"Raid her lingerie drawers and find something that she has bought recently that she loves to wear and check the label on the inside of the bra," she said.

Sizing is so important and so is getting the style right, added Soozie - you don’t want us to feel as though we are being dressed up like escorts!

However, men do seem to err on the side of caution, with seven per cent opting for items that are too small rather than the three per cent that dare to choose something that’s too big!

As well as the traditional bra and knickers sets, sleepwear and loungewear can also be a nice present, Soozie continued.
