Inside Sinitta’s wardrobe
November 6th, 2009
From Furla to Gucci and Rock and Republic, 1980s pop star Sinitta sure has one impressively stocked designer clothes wardrobe.
Despite rising to fame during the decade that many believe style forgot, this chic fashionista has emerged in the 21st century as one seriously well-dressed lady.
Now in her 40s, I think she looks better than ever - and no it’s not because she has said goodbye to that god awful perm and fluorescent lycra fetish!
Rather, she simply knows what suits her body and what looks she can get away with by appearing both age-appropriate and trendy at the same time.
She told the Daily Mail that among her wardrobe full of 500 pairs of shoes and countless designer dresses, is her fabulous collection of bags, her favourite item of which is - interestingly enough - a men’s bag.
"I head to the men’s section of Italian brand Furla. I do love my Furla men’s red croc bag because it can carry everything a mum of young kids needs, plus it’s sleek and has clean lines," she explained.
That is certainly something I admit to doing - mainly because I’m such a fan of super-big bags. Not only is opting for men’s accessories perfectly sensible depending on what you’re after, it also almost always guarantees that you’ll have a fashion item that other girls out there don’t!
Do you rate Sinitta as a style queen?
