What will men be wearing in 2010?

Men’s fashion week has moved from Milan to Paris and designer clothing labels have been busy showing us what we should expect to be wearing in the coming seasons. So what can we look forward to from men’s clothing collections?

The Guardian has summed up the key menswear trends from the fashion shows and has suggested that men should let their shirt tails hang out, tuck long johns into boots and let their quiffs take on a Jedward appearance.

Colour-wise, camel will be a big look for the autumn. The newspaper suggests opting for a camel-coloured coat rather than dressing head to toe in the hue.

"Snow might be mostly over in the real world, but menswear designers were flaunting collections with severe weather warnings. There were quilted puffer linings under tailored jackets at Marni and Emporio Armani and D&G based their whole collections on the snowboarder look," it continued.

Other key pieces that we will be seeing in the fashion sales will be aviation jackets, which were popular at Burberry, chunky boots and rucksacks.

The Times added that the key menswear trends from Paris and Milan were all fairly practical - and will certainly keep people happy if we experience another similar winter to this one.

Would you brave long johns as outerwear?

March 11th, 2010 - All hail Chanel! Not only have they been one of my long-time favourite designer clothing brands, but they have now proven that there is definitely no future for fur in fashion. March 10th, 2010 - Lindsay Lohan is perhaps not best known for her reliability, or in fact, her designer clothing know-how but that didn’t stop the Emanuel Ungaro brand from taking the star under their wing as artistic director last year. And unfortunately for the French fashion house, the collaboration between the pair seems to have been one huge flop. When ...

March 10th, 2010 - With the Oscars being one of the biggest events on the designer clothing world’s calendar each year, we here at Secret Sales HQ were eagerly awaiting the reports of who pulled out all the stops on the red carpet. March 9th, 2010 - There is no doubt that since the wonderful Alexander McQueen passed away last month, there has been a huge void left in the designer clothing world.
