Valentine’s Day underwear stress

Valentine’s Day can leave many a man in a cold sweat stressing out about what to buy their beloved.

Underwear is the obvious choice, although please be warned boys, chocolates are a lot easier and with a sweet treat there should be no worries about offending your loved one by picking the wrong size.

There is a potential minefield of mistakes to be made in the purchasing of underwear; wrong colour, wrong size, too sleazy, too prim.

So I was somewhat disheartened to see Isreali model and Leonardo DiCaprio’s latest squeeze, Bar Refaeli, modelling Valentine’s underwear for M&S.

Disheartened because Ms Refaeli looks amazing. Tall, lithe and picture perfect, she’s enough to make any girl run to the nearest Power Plate class for a punishing four hour workout.

In one picture the 23-year-old model is looking cute in red polka dot knickers and bra – the perfect present if you’re in a playfull mood.

In another she is sporting red silk underwear with a black trim and a suspender belt – ideal for girls that want to strut their saucy side.

So, those clever people at M&S have all the bases covered, apart from the sad fact that women will worry their men will look at the pics, think ’she looks amazing’, buy it for their girlfriend and then be disappointed when she doesn’t quite match up.
