Designer clothing - can we start too young?
December 2nd, 2009
We all remember the time when we first treated ourselves to a piece of designer clothing. The time we first splashed out on that amazing pair of designer shoes or unwrapped that beautiful handbag.
Having infamous parents like Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, little Suri will never get to experience that satisfying moment - as she has been kitted out in countless designer outfits since she set foot in the world.
But this has not been without its critisism. Suri’s wardrobe has been reported to be worth some £2 million and she is rarely seen wearing the same thing twice.
This weekend (November 29th), Katie Holmes told Access Hollywood why she lets her little tot teeter around in high heels.
"She, like every little girl - she loves my high heels," she said.
Adding that they were safe for young feet as they were designed for young girls who take part in ballroom dancing.
"I found them for her and she loves them," she said.
Can designer fashion come too young. We all want to look great from a young age, but should designer clothing wait until we are old enough to appreciate it? Please let me know what you think.
