Zoggs the Brand:
Zoggs was born in Sydney, Australia in 1992, when the brand became the first swimwear manufacturer to add UV protection as standard to all of their goggles. Zoggs goggles were so efficient that Australia’s greatest female swimmer, Dawn Fraser, even chose to endorse them.
1994 saw the brand rise further up the ranks with the launch of their now legendary one-size-fits-all Phantom Google. The Phantom was the first patented goggle, featuring Soft-Seal and Fogbuster technology for a customised fit and steam free swimming. Zoggs were now setting the bar high for their contemporaries. Indeed, by 1995, Zoggs went on to win the place of No.1 best selling junior swim goggle, with their Little Ripper design.
With the launch of their U2 design in 1996, the brand sparked a trend for mirrored reflected lenses that swept the swimwear industry in the nineties. Continuing with their trend setting status, Zoggs decided to bring a touch of glamour to the sport with the launch of their pearlescent Saibo goggle.
The start of the Millennium saw Zoggs release Dawn of the Millennium, a pair of gold goggle to commemorate their muse, Olympic medalist Dawn Fraser, in line with the Sydney games. The arrival of the new era also saw Zoggs create the first 100% Silicone frame goggles- Super Seal, gain endorsement from The Cancer Council Australia, as well as launching the first watch designed specifically for swimmers- the Lap-Pro.
Today Zoggs is a fully fledged swimwear brand, producing not only goggles, but swimsuits and swim accessories for men, women and kids. The brand has made a name for itself both as a first choice for professional swimmers and as a great quality leisurewear manufacturer.
