Miss Sixty The Brand

One of the leaders in the denim industry, Italian brand Miss Sixty is known for creating well-cut jeans and beautiful flamboyant prints.
Launched in 1991, Miss Sixty has become something of a fashion institution. Specialising in denim and jeans wear, the brand has attracted a cult following thanks to the inch-by-inch waist fit, allowing customers to effectively be in between sizes.
Despite Miss Sixty’s initial success, including in America, it was not until 1999 that the label acquired its first stand-alone store, which was opened in London.
Thanks to the store’s popularity in the UK, the brand followed its ladies wear range with a footwear collection in 2000.
This was followed by eyewear in 2002 and a children’s clothing collection by 2004.
Like many of its contemporaries, Miss Sixty has also branched out into the lucrative fragrance industry. Produced by cosmetics giant Coty, the brand now has a collection of four scents, entitled Miss, Rock Muse, Elixir and Miss Sixty.
September 2007 saw the label cross over into designer territory with its first catwalk collection for Spring/Summer 2008 during New York Fashion Week.
Classic Styles
Miss Sixty is well known for naming their denim range and with many styles coming in more than one wash and various leg lengths; there are plenty to choose from.
Boot cut include ‘Big Love’ and ‘Ex Love,’ while the flares consist of ‘Margot,’ ‘Jones’ and ‘Connie.’
Proving skinny jeans are still as popular as ever; Miss Sixty’s styles include ‘Dalko,’ ‘Radio’ and ‘Binky Flip.’
For a more casual look try some of the straight cut styles such as ‘Marla,’ ‘Magic Marvel’ and ‘Crew.’
Other classic items include batwing dresses in viscose and jersey, high-waisted skirts and strong prints in bright shades of yellows, greens and pinks.
