With a lifelong passion for fashion and her über groomed style, it was a natural progression for Victoria Beckham to branch into a career in fashion. After years spent carving herself as an iconic fashion figure, Victoria Beckham has gone from World’s best dressed WAG to muse for the likes of fashion greats such as, Marc Jacobs and Roberto Cavalli.

Victoria Beckham’s move into a career in fashion began with her appearance at London Fashion Week modelling on the catwalk for Maria Grachvogel in 2000. This was followed by her debut in the 2003 advertising campaigns for American hip hop label, Rocawear. Her image as a style icon has grown from strength to strength seeing her act as a British ambassador for Dolce & Gabbana, launching a line for Rock & Republic jeans, walking the catwalk for Roberto Cavalli and even acting as fashion editor for the March 2006 issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine.
2006 also saw the release of Victoria Beckham’s book, That Extra Half an Inch: Hair, Heels and Everything In Between, this became a bible for the thousands of Beckham fans who wish to emulate her impeccable style.
More recently, Victoria Beckham became the face of Marc Jacob’s 2008 campaign, featuring in a series of surreal images. At the end of 2008 she debuted her collection of 10 dresses at New York Fashion Week, to the wide acclaim of critics.
