Azuni - The Brand 
Launched in the mid Nineties, Azuni is the creation of former chef to the discerning guests of The Dorchester. Ashley Marshall left his job as a top London chef and went on a trip around South America, Guatemala and Mexico that he credits as changing his life. As well as three years of studying jewellery design at Sir John Cass University, it was a chance meeting in Guatemala that kick started his career. Collaborating with a group of indigenous Mayan Indians he met at a fair-trade workshop, the inspiration for his first collection took off. Over the next four months he worked on the collection, signalling the birth of Azuni.
Azuni’s first collection was quickly swept up. Marshall’s hand beaded costume jewellery was an instant hit with the London and Paris fashion accessories scene. Buyers of the first collection included Browns, Le Bon Marche, Paul Smith, Emanuel Engaro, Liberty and Whistles.
From then on, Azuni continued to flourish, maintaining a dedication to tribal art and a subtle yet alternative style. Newer collections have been commissioned by established brands Jigsaw and Paul Smith, as well as smaller brands Edina Ronay and Ronit Zilka.
Over ten years of expertise in the industry, Azuni’s mission continues to create distinctive designs that embody individuality, spirit and have personal meaning to their wearers. Marshall continues to travel around the world for inspiration for his new collections and collaborations with other UK and European designers. With such personal devotion to his jewellery line, Marshall’s Azuni is enchanting for all.
Azuni - Classic styles
Originally inspired by Native American culture, Azuni’s astounding array of beautiful accessories includes finely crafted earrings, bracelets, necklaces, rings and charms. Utilising a range of materials such as sterling silver, semi-precious stones and freshwater pearls, Azuni’s collections are to be treasured.
Spanning a range of collections, all of Azuni’s pieces are themed in complimentary collections. The Fall ‘09 9 piece collection Brave Heart features a range of bracelets, earrings and necklaces that reflect the latest growing trend for lockets.
