Of all the brands that don’t need an introduction, Armani are up there with the most famous. Armani has been leading the fashion industry towards cutting edge design for more than 30 years. With collections that span from the sublime to the ultra-sharp, Armani offers a rare chance to experience beautifully produced high end fashion at its best.

Armani’s luxurious appeal has come from an impressive range of achievements. The brand has over 140 stores worldwide, offering only the most carefully crafted garments and accessories. Its founder has achieved and maintained international acclaim for generations, and it remains a highly-profitable brand.
The founder, Giorgio Armani, was born in 1934. Growing up in the northern Italian town Piacenza, Armani was set to study Medicine before leaving his university course to pursue his interest in fashion. Starting out as an assistant designer for Nino Cerruti, he then went on to launch himself as a freelance designer for a number of different companies. After a few years of freelancing, Armani established his own fashion house in 1975. Armani now remains based in Italy, with roots in the fashion capital Milan
In the years that followed, Armani continued to impress by creating clean, tailored lines paired with elegant striking designs. In 2001 Forbes named him the most successful Italian designer, and he went on to win the same title in 2005. As well as his success as designer, Armani was the first well-known Italian designer to take an admirable stance against anorexia in the fashion industry. He subsequently banned models with a body mass index below 18 from his catwalks.
Armani has developed many successful sub-brands including Giorgio Armani, Armani Collezioni, Emporio Armani, Armani Jeans, AX | Armani Exchange, Armani Junior, and Armani/Casa.
