Fashion award freaks

back

The British Fashion Awards proved to be a star studded night with fashion’s finest out in force but there were a few fashion faux pas that I personally think were just unforgiveable.

Sadie Frost is worth a mention simply because of her dramatic entrance to the event.

Unfortunately it wasn’t her designer dress that stole the show though.

For reasons known only to herself, she turned up at the bash, stepped out of her car and a pair of knickers dropped on the floor.

Ms Frost was not the victim of some dodgy knicker elastic; however, it seems that for some reason she had her knickers in her lap.

The cynic in me can’t quite help but think that this was nothing more than a shameless publicity stunt but a very cheap one at that.

Of course we will never know the reason behind the strange gaff but what I can for sure is that it’s never a good look to start your evening without your knickers.

Watch out Sadie, people will begin to talk. It certainly did nothing for Britney’s career and didn’t seem to help Lilo.

The message is clear; going commando is not a good idea within range of paps.

So, onto other fashion disasters. While I normally quite like Pixie Geldof’s unusual, quirky style, I though she had a wardrobe malfunction of heinous proportions at the awards.

High-waisted leggings that managed to make the model look pair shaped teamed with vertiginous platforms and un-pedicured feet, not impressed.

Would you go commando?
